2. Nature of the Service

ClearChoiceHealth provides general information and comparison tools relating to Australian private health insurance products.

We:

• Are not a broker
• Do not sell insurance
• Do not provide financial advice
• Do not provide medical advice

Information provided is general in nature and does not take into account your personal objectives, financial situation, or needs.

3. No Affiliation

ClearChoiceHealth is independent and is not affiliated with any health insurer or government agency.

4. Accuracy of Information

We build this comparison from publicly available data. What we use, and what each thing is used for:

• Product details, prices and value assessments: the Australian Government's PrivateHealth.gov.au dataset, used under its CC BY 3.0 AU licence. This is the only source behind any product's details, its price or its assessment.
• How often people of different ages use hospital services: historical Medicare services statistics and Australian Bureau of Statistics population estimates. This is population context. It never changes a product's data, its price or its assessment.
• Complaint levels: the Private Health Insurance Ombudsman's quarterly updates and State of the Health Funds reports, including the APRA market share figures those reports publish.
• Insurer app ratings: the ratings published on each insurer's Australian Apple App Store and Google Play listings.
• Member benefit notes: quoted from insurers' own public websites, with the date we checked and a link to the page we read.

We do not use data from the AIHW. We do not buy data from anyone, and no insurer supplies us with data.

While we take reasonable care to ensure information is accurate, we do not guarantee:

• Completeness
• Accuracy at all times
• Ongoing availability of all products

Users should confirm details directly with insurers before making decisions.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, ClearChoiceHealth is not liable for:

• Decisions made based on information provided
• Changes in insurer policy terms
• Errors in publicly sourced data

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, logic, and materials on this website are owned by ClearChoiceHealth unless otherwise stated.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify content without permission.

7. Acceptable Use

Users must not:

• Attempt to reverse engineer platform logic
• Interfere with website functionality
• Use automated scraping tools
• Attempt to breach security measures

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform indicates acceptance of revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia.
